You may have seen the recent government announcement of the delayed commencement of the Support of Home funding program until 1 November 2025. You can read the letter from Minister for Aged Care and Seniors Sam Rae MP here.
The introduction of this new government funding program called Support at Home will have no impact on you, as a recipient of Commonwealth Home Support Package (CHSP) funding, until 2027. Care Connect will continue to provide information on the program, and you can also find information on the government website – Support at Home program: A guide for older people in Australia, families and carers (health.gov.au) And remember, if you have any questions you can always talk to your Care Manager.
