Care Connect is committed to providing high quality care and services. To continually improve the care we deliver, we always welcome feedback from clients, their families and representatives about issues important to them. One way we listen is through our Consumer Advisory Panel. This is a group of clients, carers, and representatives who share their ideas and experiences to help improve our services.
If you are a Care Connect client, or you care for someone who is, you can join the Consumer Advisory Panel. There are different ways to take part and share your thoughts.

What is a Consumer Advisory Body?
A Consumer Advisory Body is a group of people who share their ideas and advice to help improve the quality of care and services an organisation provides.
The purpose of the Advisory Body is to give independent feedback so the organisation can make better decisions and take the right actions. This helps ensure care and services are respectful, person-centred, and uphold people’s rights.
Members of a Consumer Advisory Body can include people who use aged care services, their family members, carers, or representatives from community organisations. They may provide feedback on things like care standards, the service environment, gaps in services, policies and procedures, and staff training.

Care Connect's Consumer Advisory Panel
Our Consumer Advisory Panel is different from a traditional advisory body because it offers many ways to take part.
You can share your ideas through:
- online and paper surveys
- online group meetings
- face-to-face group meetings
- one-on-one phone calls
- in-person conversations and emails.

Joining the Panel is also a chance to learn new skills, build knowledge, and meet others who are on similar care journeys.

We are always looking for new members – people with different backgrounds, cultures, languages, genders, abilities, and experiences. Your voice matters and helps us improve care for everyone.
