Following two straight days of zero new cases of Coronavirus in Victoria, the Premier has announced the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Effective 23:59 tonight, pubs, restaurants and cafes are permitted to open and Melburnians will be able to host daily visits from up to two adults and their dependents from another household.  The wearing of masks remains mandatory.

Queensland has also reported zero new cases of Coronavirus and a decision on opening its borders to NSW will be made by the end of this month.  NSW has reported two new cases of Coronavirus.
