COVIDSafe TRANSPORT PRACTICES
- Wherever possible, ensure only two people are in a 5-seater vehicle and the single passenger sits behind the front passenger seat to maximise distance between the two.
- Air conditioning should be set to external airflow rather than to recirculation, and windows can be opened where appropriate.
- Vehicles should be cleaned following each use by workers, by wiping down frequently touched points (e.g. steering wheel, gear stick, knobs, door handles) with disinfectant wipes. Higher level disinfection should be considered if a suspected or confirmed (COVID-19) case has been transported in the car.
