MANDATORY WEARING OF MASKS UPDATE – NSW & QLD 4.9.20

Service update – NSW and QLD Masks – 4.9.20

4 September 2020: With immediate effect a mask must be worn when providing any service in the following NSW LGAs:

  • LGA of Tweed 
  • LGA of Kyogle 

A surgical mask must also be worn by staff when caring for clients or where they cannot physically distance from others, who work in, reside in, or have visited in the last 14 days:

NSW: Bankstown (part LGA), Blue Mountains LGA, Cumberland LGA, Fairfield LGA, Hunters Hill LGA, Liverpool LGA, Mt Druitt (suburb), Parramatta LGA, Randwick LGA, Waverley LGA, Woollahra LGA.

QLD: City of Brisbane, City of Ipswich, Lockyer Valley Region, Logan City, Moreton Bay Region, Redland City, Scenic Rim Region, Somerset Region.

NSW/VIC and NSW/QLD (Tweed Heads to Woodenbong) border community.

SERVICE PROVISION UPDATE VICTORIA – EYE WEAR

14 August 2020

Service update - Eyewear VIC - 14.8.20 With immediate effect, all care workers in Victoria (under Stage 3 and Stage 4 restrictions) that are directly involved in the provision of care to Care Connect clients must now wear eye protection, in addition to a surgical mask, when providing services.
